HISTORY: Mr. Steen was born January 25, 1963 in Jefferson, SC a son of Bessie Mae Wallace Steen and the late Grover Steen. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Mick was an avid animal lover and enjoyed riding horses and fishing.

Mother: Bessie Mae Steen of the home.
4 Brothers: Don (Bonnie) Steen, Danny (Julie) Steen, and Randy (Mary) Steen all of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Basil Steen of the home
4 Sisters: Joan Baker and Betty (Roy) Laney both of Pageland, SC, Wanda (Dock) Donahue of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Gloria (Fred) Dennis of Marshville, NC
