DECEASED: Mr. Michael J. “Goober” Goodale, age 66, formerly of Timmonsville, SC, died Sunday, May 22, 2016.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, SC

VISITATION: 2:30 – 3:30 P.M. prior to the graveside service at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Goodale was born November 1, 1949 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late William Joseph and Wilma Rena Hurst Goodale. He was a retired supervisor with Ingram Lumber Company. Goober was a true people person and was an avid racing and football fan. In addition to his parents, Goober was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Voyd and Billy Goodale; 2 sisters, Violet Johnson and Margie Nesbitt; and also an infant sister.

Children: Pierce Goodale, Lacey Goodale, and Collin Goodale and their mother, Kathy Davis Goodale, all of Timmonsville, SC
2 Grandchildren: Aubrey and Christian Samuel
1 Sister: Josephine Adams of Kannapolis, NC
1 Sister-in-law: Mary D. Goodale of Chesterfield, SC
