HISTORY: Mr. Emanuel was born April 7, 1951 in Bennettsville, SC a son of the late Prince E. Emanuel and Iulla Barton Emanuel Harp. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps serving 3 tours in Vietnam during his 20 year career. Mr. Emanuel was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 device, Good Conduct Medal with 5 stars, Sea-Service Deployment Ribbon with 1 star, Meritorious Unit Commendation with 1 star, Letter of Appreciation, Rifle Badge, and the Pistol Sharpshooter Badge. He was a member of the D.A.V. Levon was a true outdoorsman, who loved his animals, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. In addition to his parents, Mr. Emanuel was preceded in death by 1 sister.
