FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: will be 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Lowery was born November 3, 1919 in Wadesboro, NC a daughter of the late Jesse William and Clara Lee Howell Tarlton. She was a homemaker and a former greeter at Walmart. Mrs. Lowery was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mary Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Lennox Eugene Lowery; her three sons, Billy, Bobby, and Gene Lowery; two brothers, Julian and J. W. Tarlton; and by a sister Shirley Bowman.
