HISTORY: Mrs. Mills was born July 28, 1927 in Spartanburg, SC a daughter of the late Carl Alexander and Harriet Mae Lancaster Laney. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Mills was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mary Lou was married to the late Jimmie Mills and was also preceded in death by a sister Virginia Porter.

2 Sons: Rev. Joe (Dianne) Coles of Atlanta, GA and John (Ann) Coles of Ashland City, TN

2 Daughters: Jackie (Wayne) Griffin and Judy Mills and John Burgess both of Pageland, SC

1 Brother: David Laney of Pageland, Sc

1 Sister: Jean Johnson of Jenkinsville, SC

5 Grandchildren: Sherri(Robert)Bandvatz, Angela Griffin, Jonathan Coles, Jennifer(Michael)Rains, and Kimberly Griffin
