HISTORY: Ms. Laney was born October 29, 1925 in Lancaster, SC a daughter of the late Heyward and Neva Faile Langley. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Taxahaw Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed working in her yard and growing beautiful flowers. In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Laney; a daughter, Sheila Knight; two brothers, Frank and Leonard Langley; and a sister, Doris Jones.

1 Son: Michael (Paula) Laney of Lancaster, SC
3 Daughters: Frances Baucom of Pageland, SC, Darlene (Mickey) Faulkenberry of Lancaster, SC, and Denise (Darrell) Ratliff of Wadesboro, NC
2 Brothers: George Langley and Ray "Buck" Langley of Pageland, SC
6 Sisters: Glendora Deese, Arleda Mayes, Brenda McManus, Eunice Messer, Diane Wallace, and Levene Horne all of Pageland, SC
Also 13 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren
