FUNERAL SERVICE: will be 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel
INTERMENT: will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery
VISITATION: 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home
HISTORY: Mrs. Gooden was born November 10, 1938 in Patrick, SC a daughter of the late Roachel and Cora Lee Tolson Polson. She was an employee of Wal-Mart. Mary enjoyed growing flowers and taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Laverne Gooden; a brother, William Thomas Polson; and by two sisters, Pauline King and Geneva Campbell.

1 Daughter: Stacey Gooden (Eugene) Wright of the home
1 Granddaughter: Kayla Gooden of the home
