INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. Monday, October 26, 2009 prior to the service at the Church

HISTORY: Mrs. Brown was born October 3, 1938 in Kershaw, SC, a daughter of the late Hazel Heyward and Allie Boone Barrett. She was a homemaker and a member of Forest Pine Church. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, J. Yates Brown and by a sister, Barbara Chavis.

SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Norma Jean (Tim) McAllen of Lancaster, SC and Sheila Brown and fiancé Eddie Lang of Cheraw, SC
2 Grandchildren: Hailey J. Brown and fiancé Brandon Linton of Cheraw, SC and Jonathan Y. Brown of Cheraw, SC
3 Brothers: Clyde H. Barrett, Matthew E. "Buddy" Barrett and Carl Baker, Jr. all of Kershaw, SC
1 Sister: Trula Jean Catoe of Kershaw, SC
