Margie Davidson Russell

Chesterfield, SC

          Mrs. Margie Davidson Russell, age 75, entered into rest on Sunday, February, 25, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, February 29, 2024 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Fred McDaniel with burial to follow in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. 

          Mrs. Margie was born November 24, 1948, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late Ray and Mary Quick Davidson. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. Margie was a former secretary at St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was also an employee of Weller and Chesterfield Manufacturing. Margie was an outgoing person who loved spending time with her family and special friends. She liked to go shopping and eating out every chance she could. Mrs. Russell also enjoyed being at home where she would make ceramics or plant flowers in her garden. One of her favorite activities was camping and she would often go with her family to the Barefoot RV and Yacht club. 

          Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Keith Russell of the home; sister, Brenda (Eddie) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC; brothers, Johnny (Cynthia) Davidson of Chesterfield, SC, Tony Davidson of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister-in-law, Jewell Davis; brother-in-law, Dwight (Carolyn) Russell; nephews, Chad (Kristy) Davidson, Kyle (Stephanie) Davidson, Drew (Kristen) Sellers, Tyler Davidson, Cooper Davidson, Kenneth (Sabrina) Russell, David (Melissa) Russell, Tim Davis, Rusty (Jodean) Wallace; Nieces, Kim Scott, Lucinda Raggio, Sandra (Jose) Soto; great-nephews, Zachary Russell, Brayden Russell, Tyler Russell, Jayden Davidson, Asher Davidson, Matthew Porterfield; great-nieces, Emma Grace Davidson, Nataleigh Sellers, Briana Cogley, Jaley Russell, Ashley Scott; and a host of friends. 

The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to Stacy Beaver of McLeod Hospice for her loving friendship and wonderful care given to Margie in her last days. The family would also like to thank Chaplain Layne Rogerson for her assistance and helpfulness.
