DECEASED: Mrs. Lorraine Q. Garris, age 74, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her home.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church
INTERMENT: Will follow in the church cemetery
VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC
HISTORY: Mrs. Garris was born April 12, 1941 in Wallace, SC a daughter of the late Lynn and Annabelle Quick. She was a retired employee of Delta Mills with over 40 years of service and was a receptionist with Hospice of Chesterfield County. Mrs. Garris was a faithful member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church where she served as President of the UMW, Treasurer of the Cemetery Committee, and a faithful choir member. Her favorite pastime was working in her yard. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett Garris; 3 brothers-in-law, Neal Roberts, James Shaw, Harold Brigman, Ed Garris, Frank Garris, and Jimmy Garris; sisters-in-law, Sharon Garris and Susie Garris

Son: Tony Garris of the home
Sisters: Peggy Shaw of Wallace, SC and Loretta Roberts of Cheraw, SC
Brother-in-law: Ray Garris of Wallace, SC
