Little Miss Averlee Dawn Gilmore

Little Miss Averlee Dawn Gilmore, newborn princess of Samantha Lee McMurray and Richard Everett Jones was received into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, March 10, 2022. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Averlee was born March 10, 2022 in Florence, SC the daughter of Samantha Lee McMurray and Richard Everett Jones. She was an answered prayer and bundle of blessings to her parents and family. Although her life was short, Averlee’s memory will forever live in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.

She was greeted in heaven by her paternal grandfather, William Gilmore.

In addition to her parents, Averlee is also survived by paternal grandparents; Melissa Sellers of Wallace, SC and Clinton Barlow of Wallace, SC; maternal grandparents, Kathy and Barry Moss of Statesville, NC; aunt, Chasity Jones of Cheraw, SC; uncles, Brandon Sellers of Wallace, SC, Shawn McMurray of Asheboro, NC, Allen McMurray of Statesville, NC, and Steven McMurray of Statesville, NC; great-grandmother, Brenda Gilmore of Chesterfield, SC and cousin, Brayden McMurray.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
