Linda Michelle Alexander Helms

Mrs. Linda Michelle Alexander Helms, age 46, entered into rest on Monday, October 25, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by her father, Rev. Frank Alexander. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Helms was born August 17, 1975 in Monroe, NC a daughter of Rhoda Ann Newell Hardin and Rev. Woodrow Franklin Alexander. She was a loving homemaker and member of Southside Ministries. Linda enjoyed singing in church, and traveling with her husband to the beach and mountains. Her greatest passion was loving on her family, and was known as “Mother Bear” to all.

Linda was reunited in heaven with her daughter, Brianna “Brezzy” Helms.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Darrell Helms; children, Chrissy Helms, D.J. Helms, Hailey Davis, Lilly Hendrix, Evie Hendrix, and Connor Davis; grandchildren, Alley Hendrix, Araina Hendrix, and Myles Helms; mother, Ann Hardin; father, Rev. Frank (Christy) Alexander; siblings, Lisa (Mike) Culler, Pastor Scott (Judy) Alexander, Cameron McKinney, and Trevor (Alex) Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
