GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 9:30 - 10:30 AM Tuesday prior to the service at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

HISTORY Mrs. Purvis was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of Annie Mae Poston Davis and the late James Lee Davis. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Edwards Elementary School and was married to the late Willard Thomas "Bill" Purvis. Leona was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Purvis and by 3 brothers, Jackie, Eddie, and Pete Davis.

Mother: Annie Mae Davis of Chesterfield, SC

Sister: Shirley D. Johnson of Cheraw, SC
