Lena Mae Odom "Bill" Tolson

Patrick, SC

            Mrs. Lena Mae Odom “Bill” Tolson, age 89, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Patrick Baptist Church by Reverend Dr. Wayne Williams and Alvin Tolson with burial to follow in the Patrick Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tolson was born August 26, 1933 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Lawerence and Ruth Campbell Odom. After graduating from Cheraw High School, Mrs. Bill worked at the Perry Clinic and Chesterfield General Hospital as a C.N.A. She also worked as an assistant to Dr. Luke Purdue.  Mrs. Tolson was a faithful member of Patrick Baptist Church. She also volunteered on many committees in the town of Patrick.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tolson was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Tolson; and her sister, Pamelia Huggins.

Survivors include her son, Lavern (Bonnie) Tolson of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Eric Tolson of Patrick, SC; Jill (Brandon) Edwards of Patrick, SC; great-grandchildren, Ace Tolson, Parker Tolson, Addy Edwards; sisters, Peggy Jenkins of Chesterfield, SC, Vena McLain of Patrick, SC; and special friend, John Allen.
