DECEASED: Mrs. Leila Gibson Rollins, age 83, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at her home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 P.M., Friday, March 23, 2007 at Thompson Creek Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Rollins was born in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late D.F. "Doc" and Mary Eliza Davis Gibson. She was a former employee of Sacony Industries, and a member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church. Leila was an avid gardener, seamstress, and homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to all her family. Mrs. Rollins was the youngest of 11 children and was preceded in death by her husband, Everett A. Rollins in March of 2005; her 6 brothers, Thurman, Nelson, Duncan, Frank, Newsom, and Woodrow Gibson; and by her 4 sisters, Sarah Horne, Dora Brock, Leona Freeman, and Nancy Sink.

SON: James Calvin (Bonnie) Rollins of Ruby, SC
3 DAUGHTERS: Betty (Riley) Moss, and Emma (Bill) Lambert of Ruby, SC and Vivian (Ron) Moseley of Aiken, SC
8 GRANDCHILDREN: Patrick (Micha) Moss, Kip (Elizabeth) Moss, of Chesterfield, SC; James (Darlene) Rollins, Wade (Teresa) Lambert, Matthew (Rhonda) Lambert, of Ruby, SC; Shannon (Roger) Emfinger of Winnsboro, Louisiana; Mary Alice Lambert of Charlotte, NC; and Allen Moseley of Aiken, SC
8 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Declan, Blake, Malarie, Ava, Taylor, Bailey, Eden, and Lillian
