DECEASED: Mr. Lawrence Edward Phillips, age 86, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014

HISTORY: Mr. Phillips was born September 11, 1927 in Mt. Croghan, SC a son of the late Kemp Huntley Phillips and Willie Mae Sims Phillips. He was a graduate of Kings Business College and was a former Terminal Manager with Hennis Trucking Company in Ruby, SC. Lawrence was a retired inspector with Pageland Screen Printers. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of Salem Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Swett Phillips; his daughters, Jane Douglass, Beverly Gulledge, and Cathy Evans; and a grandson, Jamie Douglass.

2 Sons: Michael (Vicki) Phillips of Mt. Croghan, SC and Edward (Sherrie) Phillips of Cheraw, SC
Also 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great, Great Grandchild
