FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson, SC

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Miles was born June 18, 1946 in Jefferson, SC a son of the late Baxter Roy and Verdie Brown Miles. He was a carpenter by trade, and a former employee of Ruby Manufacturing. Mr. Miles was a member of the S.C. National Guard and attended Living Faith Baptist Church. He was a true outdoorsman, who enjoyed cooking and spending time with his friends, and his beloved pets, PeeWee and Trixie. He loved his family and friends, and was a devoted caregiver to his mother in her latter years. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Evelyn M. Melton, and Louise M. Helms; and 2 brothers, Aaron J. Miles and William Lucas Miles.

1 Brother: Paul E. Miles of Jefferson, SC
1 Sister: Gladys (Glen) Oliver of Chesterfield, SC
