          Mr. Keith D. Bailey, age 57, entered into rest on Friday, November 17, 2023. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ronald Thurman and Nathan Gardner with burial to follow in the Ruby Cemetery with Masonic Rites rendered by the Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314. The family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2023 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

          Mr. Bailey was born October 27, 1966 in Chesterfield, SC a son of James Douglas and Sylvia Faye Gulledge Bailey. Keith graduated from Chesterfield High School in 1984 and worked with CHESCO Services and Hartsville Lumber and Barns throughout his career .

           With a strong sense of community, Keith actively participated in multiple civic engagements. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and grew up attending Ruby Baptist Church. Furthermore, he served on the Ruby Town Council for four years and held two terms as mayor from 2012 to 2020. Keith's commitment extended to the Ruby-Mt. Croghan Volunteer Fire Department where he served for 12 years. Moreover, he was also a proud member of the Ruby Masonic Lodge #314.

            Keith was a very talented handyman, who could build and repair anything. His love for riding motorcycles was evident in his cherished Harley Davidson. Additionally, he had a special bond with his beloved dog "Gracie Faye" and found joy in taking his grand dog "Sky" on rides around Ruby.

          Survivors include his wife, Lou Anne Bailey of the home; children, Ashley Bailey (Tyler) Parker of Pageland, SC, Gracie Ann Williams of Ruby, SC, and Tyler (Harleigh) Brigman of Ruby, SC; grandchildren, Grady Oliver, and Landin Mark; parents, James & Sylvia Bailey of Ruby, SC; sister, Amy Bailey (Tony) Donahue of Ruby, SC; niece, Teresa (Greg) Zearfoss and their children, Ameila and Bailey of Mt. Croghan, SC; and nephew, Michael “Mikey” Douglas Bailey of Ruby, SC.

          Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016; or to the Helping Hands Outreach Center, 205 W. Pigg Street, Pageland, SC 29728.
