Julie Elizabeth Tracy was born January 27, 1959 and passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2025 after a courageous battle with lymphoma. She was surrounded by her dearest friends Pastor Dave Warner and Icilda Warner.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Irvin James Via and Anna Pearl Shull Via; and by her parents, Jack Duncan Tracy and Elizabeth Jean Via Tracy.

Her father was a proud veteran of World War II US Navy and a retired meteorologist, and her mother was an author (Go around - the story of Mary Gaffaney, published God's Embroidery - The Life of Pat Hunter – published 1976). Also preceded in death by her siblings: brother, John Duncan Tracy and sister, Olivia Jean Tracy Frazier. Also preceded in death by her uncle Irvin James Via Junior (aka Snakehawke) and Sarah Anna Via Melton.

She was a founding member of the Ruach church, and a thriving member of that community where she found faith, love and acceptance. She was enjoying getting reunited with some of her cousins; Eric Via and Paul Via; Olivia Frazier Allan and Alexandra Frazier; and Robert Melton, Terry Melton, and Jeffrey (Kimberly) Melton.
