She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her siblings: Kathleen Williford, Margaret Sweat, and Naomi Ard.

Mrs. Grice is survived by her children: June (George) Pearre of Chesterfield, SC; Lafon (Cheryl) Grice of Gibson, NC; Charlotte (Keith) Jackson of Chesterfield, SC; Richard Grice of Wallace, SC; and Pastor Joe (Denise) Grice of Dillon, SC.

Many daughters have done virtuously, But thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: But a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; And let her own works praise her in the gates. ~ Proverbs 31:29-31
