Joseph "JoJo" Darrell Burch

Mr. Joseph “JoJo” Darrell Burch, age 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 24, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow at Hopewell Baptist Church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Burch was born July 31, 1950 in Mt. Olive, NC a son of the late Frank Marshall and Josephine Adams Burch. JoJo retired from the North Carolina Department of Corrections. Mr. Burch was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a fun-loving guy that enjoyed watching sports, karaoke, and dancing. JoJo was always making people laugh and was a great trash talker.

Survivors include his daughter, Christy (Mike Jones) Burch of Wadesboro, NC; grandson, Gerald Jones of Wadesboro, NC; brother, Frank (Emily) Burch of Wendell, NC; sisters, Mary (Bob) Burch Laton of Sanford, NC, Eleanor Burch Brooks of Waynesville, NC; special friend and neighbor, Travis (Nicole) Brewer.
