Johnie Frank Jordan, Jr.

Mr. Johnie F. Jordan, Jr., age 64, entered into rest at his home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Twin Pines Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Tommy Moser. The family will greet friends from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

Mr. Jordan was born September 23, 1961, in Monroe, NC a son of Rachel Hudson Helms and the late Johnie Frank Jordan, Sr. He was educated at Central High School and grew up attending Almetta Baptist Church with his family. Through the years, Johnie enjoyed visiting Twin Pines Freewill Baptist Church to hear his friend, Pastor Tommy Moser to preach and sing.

An avid outdoorsman, Johnie enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a heart for animals, especially cats whom he often rescued, fed and cared for. Johnie will be remembered for his big heart and his willingness to help anyone.

In addition to his father, Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack & Rosalee Jordan and Carl & Ruby Hudson; and his mother’s late husband, Kyle Helms.

Survivors include his mother, Rachel H. Helms; sister, Robin Autry both of Mt. Croghan, SC; numerous cousins including special cousin and sister of the heart, Cindy Catledge of Kings Mountain, NC, and brother of the heart, Franklin Mills of Lancaster, SC.
