John Samuel Rivers III

          Mr. John Samuel Rivers, III, age 45, entered into rest on Monday, November 6, 2023. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Rivers Family Cemetery at Zoar United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

          Mr. Rivers was born April 9, 1977 in Cheraw, SC a son of Barbara White Rivers and the late John Samuel Rivers, Jr. He was a 1995 graduate of Northwestern High School and a former employee of Auto Zone. John was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and also enjoyed following Joey Logano Racing.

          In addition to his father, Mr. Rivers was also preceded in death by his grandparents, John S. & Lou Ella Rivers, and Sidney & Dorothy White.

          Survivors include his mother, Barbara White Rivers of the home; sister, Christel Rivers of Rock Hill, SC; and niece, Cheyenne Elliott of Rock Hill, SC.
