HISTORY: Mr. Rivers was born March 18, 1945 in Chesterfield, SC a son of Lou Ella Mauldin Rivers and the late John Samuel Rivers, Sr. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a Quality Control Supervisor with INA USA, Fort Mill Plant, with 28 years of service. Mr. Rivers was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf. In addition to his father, John was also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Rivers, and a sister, Mary Ella Rivers White.
