HISTORY: Mr. Jenkins was born July 1, 1933 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Lemuel Frank and Emma Kirkley Jenkins. He was a graduate of Ruby High School and a retired Security Guard. Joe was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. He enjoyed horses and riding in a mule drawn wagon. In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by three brothers; James, Hiram, and Bobby Jenkins; and by his sister Betty J. Lowder.
