Jimmy R. Brooks, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Rodger Brooks, Jr. age 54, entered into rest on Monday, November 27, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be 5:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Brooks was born February 18, 1963 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Jimmy R. Brooks, Sr. and Sybil Tarlton Brooks. He was a former landscaper. Mr. Brooks loved animals, and had a special place in his heart for his dogs. An avid NASCAR fan, Jimmy enjoyed being outdoors with his family and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Amber; brother, Tony (Brenda) Brooks of Cheraw, SC; half-brother, Mick Pervatte of MO; nephew, Tony (Ashley Moore) Brooks, Jr. of Patrick, SC; brother of the heart, John Chapman of Cheraw, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC directed to the Brooks funeral fund.
