Mr. Jessie Carroll “Hoss” Jordan, age 67, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Jordan was born December 5, 1948 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Buford Jordan and Betty Ruth Rogers Jordan Price. He was a former employee of Funderburk Fertilizer and Donald Plyler Construction. Mr. Jordan was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on antique cars, watching westerns, and playing his guitar.

In addition to his parents, Carroll was also preceded in death by 2 nephews, Ian Arant and John Boy Crapps; and 1 niece, Jennifer Lynn Dripps.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Deborah R. Jordan of the home; 2 sons, Jessie Carroll Jordan, Jr. and wife Brandy of Kershaw, SC, and Robert M. Andrew Jordan of Jefferson, SC; 2 grandchildren, Dakoda Raylee Anderson and Stephany Denise Jordan; 2 sisters, Brenda Pauline Jordan and Betty Sue Mills both of Jefferson, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
