DECEASED: Mr. Jessie "Dick" Dixon, age 67, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: will follow in the Palmetto Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Dixon was born September 17, 1940 in Darlington, SC a son of the late Brock and Idell Hicks Dixon. He was a retired carpenter and U.S. Airforce Veteran. Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Winery Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harvey L. "Hob" Dixon and Anglish Dixon.

3 Sons: Randy L. (Glenda) Dixon of Patrick, SC, Jessie "Gene" (Judy) Dixon, and Richard "Cotton" (Penny) Dixon both of Chesterfield, SC
2 Daughters: Missy Shaw and Ricky Griggs of Cheraw, SC and Rachel Medford of Patrick, SC
1 Brother: Elijah (Doris) Dixon of Chesterfield, SC
4 Sisters: Rachel Yarborough of McBee, SC, Patricia Rogers of Chesapeake, VA, Ann (Max) McCormick of Cheraw, SC, and Becky Ann (Frank) Hayden of Suffolk, VA
Also 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
