DECEASED: Mr. Jerry Hazel Jordan, age 69, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

INTERMENT: to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery

HISTORY: Mr. Jordan was born December 19, 1941 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Hazel C. and Melba Threadgill Jordan. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School Class of 1959 and attended Clemson University. Jerry was employed with Burlington Industries for 43 years, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed history and playing the piano, and also spoke three foreign languages.

3 Daughters: Beth (Glenn) Shapiro of Flanders, NJ; Dawn Jordan of Northvale, NJ; and Cheryl (David) Huffines Ooltewah, TN
6 Grandchildren: Jordanna, Timothy, Andrew, Ashley, Brittany, and David, Jr.
2 Brothers: Mitchell (Derrel) Jordan of Cheraw, SC; and Randy (Cheryl) Jordan of Chesterfield, SC
1 Sister: Cheryl J. (Bill) Matthews of Columbia, SC
