Jerry Robert Hannah

Mt. Croghan, SC

Mr. Jerry Robert Hannah, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, June 6, 2026, at the Mcleod Hospice House of Florence, SC. The funeral service to celebrate his life and legacy will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Oliver officiating. A private burial will take place in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. The visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Hannah was born on March 21, 1948, in Ruby, SC. He was a son of the late John Robert Hannah and Sadie Evelyn Johnson Hannah. Jerry was a truck driver and found great joy in fishing, but above all else, he treasured the time spent with his family. Jerry was honored as a distinguished member of the Chesterfield Bojangles “Old Men’s Club”. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Center Grove Baptist Church. He also enjoyed participating in the fellowship breakfast at Oakland Baptist Church and looked forward to the monthly supper at Ruby Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hannah was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Frances (Claude) Oliver, brother J.C. Hannah; sister-in-law, Libby Hannah Rivers; nephews, Jeff Oliver and Jason Oliver; step-son, Franklin Hancock and great-great grandson, Layton Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Lucy Hancock; children, Robin (Kyle) Davis of Cheraw, SC; Wayne (Donna) Hannah of Rockingham, NC; grandchildren, Monica (Kevin) Parker of Hamlet, NC; Kylie Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC; Holden and Matt Davis of Sacramento, CA; great grandchildren, Blakely Parker, Browyn Parker, Brielle Parker, Isabella Peterson, Bayla Parker; step-children, Gail (Ricky) Morton of Mt. Croghan, SC; step-daughter, Dale Tarleton of Mt. Croghan, SC; step grandsons, Randall (Michelle) Hancock, Ryan Taylor, Tyler Tarleton, Kevin Hancock; step granddaughters, Sarina Morton, Courtney Hancock; step great-great grandchildren, Miranda Hancock, Charlie Taylor, Hayden Taylor, Easton Morton, Piper Smith, Lennox Johnson, Lawson Johnson; siblings, Margie (Wayne) Jordan of Jefferson, SC; Charles (Anna) Hannah of Chesterfield, SC; Freddie (Bessie) Hannah of Chesterfield, SC.
