Mrs. Jennie Mae Turnage, age 71, entered into rest on Friday, August 28, 2020. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 31, 2020 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Robert Turner and Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

Mrs. Turnage was born April 15, 1949 in Lamar, SC a daughter of the late Sam Perry and Martha Sue Parnell Mancill. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing the piano. A lady who loved taking care of her family, her house was always open to everyone. Jennie believed what her mom always taught her, that a person preaches their own funeral each day they live. She will always be remembered as a lady who always had a helping hand for those who needed it.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turnage was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Walker Turnage; sister, Brenda Gail Turner; and brother-in-law, Kenny Chapman.

Survivors include her son, Marvin Sam Turnage of the home; brother, Perry Mancill of Timmonsville, SC; sister, Terrie Sue Chapman of Cheraw, SC; niece, Brandi (Joey) McKay; nephews, Dusty (Selena James) Chapman, Matthew (Kimberly) Turner, Patrick (Shannon) Mancill, and Jonathan Mancill; 3 great nephews; and 1 great niece.

The family would like to express their thankfulness to special caregivers, Geneva Goines, Kathy Smith, and Kala Smith all of Chesterfield, SC.
