It is with deep sorrow that the Oliver family announces the death of Mr. James Perry "Bimbo" Oliver, 69.

Mr. Oliver entered into rest on Thursday, August 3, 2023. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring for the family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, Ruby, SC.

Mr. Oliver was born in Ruby, SC, to the late Jimmy Oliver and the late Mary Beatrice Woodard Oliver.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Thompson Oliver; children, James Oliver, Jr., Tara Michelle Oliver, Kelly Ray Oliver; grandchildren, Jamie Dylan Oliver, Stacy Lynn Oliver, Thomas Edward Oliver; great-grandchildren, Ralynn Sue Oliver, Landen James Oliver; sisters, Margaret Oliver Gibson, Marcelle Oliver Sellers.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Patricia Woodard, Jean Oliver.
