James Fowler

Mr. James Robert “Bobby” Fowler, Jr., age 66, entered into rest on Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Hospice Chaplain Rev. Don Rhyne. The family will greet friends from 11:00AM – 1:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Fowler was born September 28, 1950 in Charlotte, NC a son of Jewell Blalock Fowler and the late James Robert Fowler, Sr. He was a retired employee with the City of Charlotte and was of the Methodist faith. Bobby enjoyed farming, drag-racing, hunting and running his hound dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Fowler of the home; mother, Jewell B. Fowler of Charlotte, NC; brother, Ben (Sharen) Fowler of Asheville, NC; and sister, Kathy Peyton of Charlotte, NC.
