History: Mr. Brock was born December 15, 1948 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Perry and Vera Johnson Brock. He was a 1967 graduate of Cheraw High School. James was a retired manager of Kimbrell's Furniture Company in Laurinburg NC, and a former manager in Cheraw, SC. In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his brother, Claudius Brock.

1 Daughter: Amanda B. (Lt. Col. Andrew) Griggs of Benton, LA
2 Grandchildren: Andrew and Lizzie Griggs
Special Nephew: Joey (Sheila) Crowley of Cheraw, SC
4 Sisters: Joyce Watts of Lilesville, NC, Annie R. Ostigny, Bessie (Gratton) Matthews, and Pat (Richard) Gaddy all of Cheraw, SC
