It is with deep sorrow that the Holloman family announces the death of Mr. James Allen "Jimmy" Holloman, 80.

Mr. Holloman entered into rest on Friday, August 18, 2023. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home and Crematory are caring for the family.

A funeral service to honor his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Born in Charleston, SC, he was a son of the late Roy Holloman and the late Julia Johnson Holloman. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and the Chuck Huckabee's Upper Room Sunday School Class. He retired from Sonoco Products Company after 47 years of service. He was also a member of the Sonoco Old Timers Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to their sporting events and concerts. Jimmy was an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Campbell Holloman; children, Michele Mullins (Tony), Allen Holloman; grandchildren, Jake Mullins, Josh Mullins, Cody Holloman, Zach Holloman; daughter-in-law, Chasity Holloman; sisters-in-law, Janice Rivers, Linda Prohaska (John); brothers-in-law, J.B. Campbell, Melvin Campbell, Paulie Campbell (Frances), Glenn Campbell (Brenda), Eugene Campbell (Terry); numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Catherine Holloman; sister, Glenda Byerly; brothers, Joseph Johnson, Olin Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 202 Lakeview Blvd., Hartsville, SC 29550.
