Jaime Shanelle Mills Boggs, age 49, of Effingham, South Carolina, passed away on June 16, 2026 in Monroe, North Carolina.

She was born on April 6, 1977, in Monroe, North Carolina to Donnie Mills and Dianne Plyler Mills. Jaime was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by kindness, warmth, and devotion to the people she loved. Jaime dedicated a meaningful part of her life to serving children and families through her work as a Teacher Assistant in the school system in Florence, South Carolina. She took pride in helping others and found purpose in supporting students each day.

Family was at the center of Jaime’s life, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved. She is survived by her husband, Michael Boggs of Effingham, South Carolina; her daughter, Kailee Boggs of Effingham, South Carolina; her parents, Donnie Mills and Dianne Plyler Mills of Pageland, SC; her brother, Ryan Mills and his wife, Cathy of Pageland, South Carolina; and her mother of the heart, Resa Picolet of Pageland, South Carolina.

Jaime especially loved spending time with her family, and those moments were among the happiest of her life. Whether gathered around the table, sharing conversation, or simply enjoying one another’s company, she found comfort and happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved most. She also enjoyed playing cards and all types of games, and her playful spirit often brought laughter and lighthearted fun to those around her. These simple pleasures reflected the joyful and affectionate nature that made her so dear to others.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM at South Pointe Fellowship, 701 East Cato Street, Pageland, SC 29728 with Pastor Kenny Pittman and Rev. Tim Madaris presiding.

The family has requested friends to dress casual and wear her favorite color of Purple.
