FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Forest Pine Freewill Baptist Church

INTERMENT: to follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 - 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2009 prior to the service at the church

HISTORY: Mr. Brown was born January 9, 1933 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Rev. Donald Austin Brown and Ella Frances Price Brown. He was a retired supervisor of Carolina Packaging, Inc. Mr. Brown was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of Forest Pine Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Yates was preceded in death by 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.

2 Grandchildren: Hailey J. Brown and companion Brandon Linton of Cheraw, SC and Jonathan Y. Brown of Cheraw, SC
1 Sister: Laura Lattimore of Bishopville, SC
3 Brothers: Racine Brown of Columbia, SC, Donald P. Brown of Camden, SC, and Maurice Brown of Greenville, SC
