HISTORY: Mr. Lofton was born January 14, 1937 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Howard and Nellie Howle Lofton. He was a graduate of Cheraw High School and Wingate College. He was former owner of Jamaican Suntan Product Company and a merchant at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market. Howard enjoyed shagging and beach music. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Lofton, and a brother Wade Hampton Lofton.
