FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Wallace, SC

INTERMENT: will follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: is 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Cheves was born June 15, 1921 in Wallace, SC a son of the late Nelson and Bertis Steen Cheves. He was a retired farmer and cotton gin operator. Mr. Cheves was a U.S. Army Veteran. Horace loved his goats, chickens, dogs, and other animals. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and was a collector. In addition to his parents, Horace was also preceded in death by his son, Wade Langdon Cheves; two granddaughters, Lori Annette Bennett and Tonya Denise Brock; and by his brother, Kermit Cheves.

2 Daughters: Lois Cheves Bennett of Cheraw, SC and Evelyn Cheves Brock of Chesterfield, SC
Daughter-in-law: Sara W. Cheves of Wallace, SC
4 Grandchildren: Lisa (Tim) Campbell, Wade "Tony" Cheves, Scott Bennett, and Tommy (Melissa) Brock
2 Great Grandchildren: Tiffani and Noah Campbell
1 Sister: Germaine Harwood of Burlington, NC
