Mrs. Hilda Faye Kissiah, age 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Donald Wallace, Jr. The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kissiah was born June 14, 1945 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late Woodrow and Mildred Pegues Kissiah. Mrs. Kissiah cherished people deeply; nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her friends and family. She especially loved catching up with friends over the phone, sharing stories and laughter that could brighten any day. Evenings often found her relaxing beside her beloved husband, Mr. Bud, watching her favorite programs. Her favorites included her treasured soap operas to Family Feud and browsing the latest finds on QVC. She also delighted in searching for hidden treasures at thrift shops and unwinding with a good book in hand.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kissiah was preceded in death by her daughters, Donna M. Johnson, Charlene K. Rhodes; and brother, Jackie Kissiah.
Survivors include her son, Anthony (Trish) Leviner of Wallace, SC; grandchildren, Kelli Johnson, Tony (Rebecca) Leviner, Matthew Wicker, Justin Leviner; great-grandchildren, Jasper Johnson, Ashton Leviner; husband of 25 years, Nelson “Bud” Bailey; brother, Harry (June) Kissiah of MN; and sister, Ruth Blackmon of Florence, SC.
