Henry Lee Lear

Mr. Henry Lee Lear, age 81, entered into rest on Sunday, November 22, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Lear was born August 20, 1939 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Lacy and Mary Geneva Griggs Lear. He was a retired employee of Highland Industries with over 39 years of service and a member of the Ruby-Mt.Croghan Volunteer Fire Department. An avid outdoorsman, Henry enjoyed fishing and growing a garden each spring.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lear was also preceded in death by sisters, Bertie Faye Lee, and Doris Rhynes; and brothers, Bobby Ray Lear, David Lear, and Jerry Lear.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherri (Gene) Boatwright of Cheraw, SC; and her mother, Linda Ammons of Cheraw, SC; brothers, Fred (Debbie) Lear of Wallace, SC, and Robert (Carol) Lear of Cheraw, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
