Helen Rogers Kirby

Mrs. Helen “Rosie” Rogers Kirby, age 80, entered into rest on Thursday, December 13, 2018. The family will host a memorial service 1:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Kirby home.

Mrs. Kirby was born June 26, 1938 in Dillon, SC a daughter of the late Lewis and Minnie Huggins Rogers. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Howard Kirby of the home; sons, J.D. Owens, Harvey (Laura) Owens both of Georgetown, SC, and William Lewis (Debbie) Owens of Marion, SC; daughters, Betty Marlowe of Florence, SC, and Patsy (Dennis) Kirby of Florence, SC; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia SC 29210.
