FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Monday, April 7, 2008 at Providence Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Sikes was born December 28, 1937 in Pageland, SC, a daughter of Virginia Vaughn Haithcock and the late Charlie Haithcock. She was a retired secretary with Culp Weaving and was a former secretary with SLS Corp. Mrs. Sikes was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and a member of the Praise Team. Helen was married to the late Eli Sikes and was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Nadel.

Mother: Virginia Haithcock of Pageland, SC
1 Brother: Eddie (Margaret) Haithcock of Hilton Head, SC
3 Sisters: Bonnie Jordan and Tillie (Bert) Jackson of Pageland, SC and Wanda Goodall of Charlotte, NC
2 Grandchildren: Candice (Justin) Seaverns and Nathan Gardner
2 Great Grandchildren: Caitlyn Seaverns and Alexis Ross
