Heather Ryan Owens

          Miss Heather Ryan Owens, age 34, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park by Pastor Ryan Jordan. The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

          Miss Owens was born February 26, 1989 in Monroe, NC a daughter of Debbie Wallace Rollins and Joel Dean Owens. A 2007 graduate of Central High School, Heather enjoyed playing volleyball and was an All-State softball player. During her senior year, she was recognized as Prom Queen. She furthered her education at Horry-Georgetown Tech where she received her Associate Degree in Cosmetology. Heather was a former co-owner of Salon Static in Pageland. She cherished each client and always lent a listening ear to those who needed someone to talk to. Her care and concern for others was genuine.

          Heather was the epitome of a “girly-girl.” She enjoyed sports, caring for and rescuing animals, and taking care of her plants. Her greatest love was her family and friends; her greatest joy was being a mother to Scarlett.

          Miss Owens was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dianne Mangum, and Ervin Wallace; paternal grandfather, Reverend Dr. Harold Owens; and aunt, Wendy Jordan.

          Those who remain to cherish her beautiful memory include her daughter, Scarlett Jayde Clark and her father, Austin Clark both of Pageland; mother, Debbie Rollins (Tim Broome) of Pageland; father, Joel Owens of Lancaster; grandmother, Virginia Owens of Lancaster; sister, Brittlea Rollins of Pageland; numerous cousins including Ryan (Anna) Jordan of Lancaster; and an innumerable number of treasured friends.
