Harry Leslie "Les" Jones

Mr. Harry Leslie “Les” Jones, age 74, entered into rest on Friday, July 3, 2020. Graveside services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Jefferson Cemetery officiated by Reverend Dr. Billy Boone. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born February 2, 1946 in Kershaw County, SC a son of the late Harry Lee and Ethel Moseley Jones. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. Les enjoyed playing golf and was an avid music enthusiast. He was a member of several different bands through the years and could play any instrument.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Anne Truett and Kathy Adams.

Survivors include his brothers, Gary Jones of Cheraw, SC, Pete Jones and Tommy Jones both of FL; sisters, Millie Powell of Florence, SC, and Ruby (Rev. Billy) Boone of Gaffney, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Commander Nursing Center of Florence for their exceptional care and love provided to Mr. Jones and his family.
