HISTORY: Ms. Huntley was born in Wadesboro, NC a daughter of Barbara Anne Chewning Griggs and the late Michael J. "Mike" Griggs. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and attended Greenville Technical College. Harriet was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Elizabeth Griggs.

Mother: Barbara Chewning Griggs of Darlington, SC
1 Brother: Jimmy (Jurai) Griggs and 2 Nieces, Jennifer and Dua Griggs all of Roi-Et, Thailand
