Glenda "Gram" Sellers Lisenby

Mrs. Glenda “Gram” Sellers Lisenby, age 84, of Chesterfield, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025. A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born on September 9, 1941, in Chesterfield, SC, Mrs. Lisenby was a daughter of the late Leonard D. and Essie Melton Sellers. She dedicated many years of her career as a cafeteria manager with the Chesterfield County School District and was a former employee of Berkley Progressive Journal of Monck’s Corner. She was also the former owner and operator of Glenda’s Salon of Beauty in Chesterfield.

A devout Christian, Mrs. Lisenby was a faithful member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing, listening to gospel music, and gardening. Above all, she was deeply proud of her role as “Gram” to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charlie Dudley; brothers, Mike Sellers and Don Sellers; and sister, Vadis Sellers Turner.

Mrs. Lisenby is survived by her children, Steve Lisenby and Susan Sellers (Scott White), both of Chesterfield, SC; her grandchildren, Jacob (Roxanne) Lisenby, Tori Lisenby (Steven Johnson), Abby Lisenby (Tim Peeler), Jesse Sellers (Casey Moody), and Betsy Sellers (Adam Tolson); and her great-grandchildren, Landon, Waylon, Ada, Charleigh, Etta June, Millie, Stetson, Sterling, and Layni. She is also survived by her brothers, Phil (Libby) Sellers of Wilmington, NC, and Tommy (Mona) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC; her sister-in-law, Judy Sellers of Chesterfield, SC; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to hospice aide Sheila, nurses Erika and Madison, and the entire staff of Gentiva Hospice of Chesterfield for their outstanding care and support during this time.
