HISTORY: Mrs. Thurman was born September 12, 1931 in Mt. Croghan, SC a daughter of the late Jennings Hobson and Alma Deas Dalrymple. She was a former school secretary with Ruby Schools and retired from Chesterfield County School District Office where she served as a receptionist and payroll clerk. Dot was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and was a faithful member of Ruby Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jennings Harris Clovis Dalrymple.

3 Great Grandchildren: Kylie, Caden, and Cora Sims
2 Sisters: Edith Atkinson of Mt. Croghan, SC and Betty Lou (Bobby) Griffith of Chesterfield, SC
