Mrs. Genevia Brewington Hendricks, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Lower Macedonia Baptist Church will host a service for the family to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hendricks on Sunday, December 21, 2025., with Pastor Lindsey Powell officiating. A time of viewing and visitation with the family will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, between the hours of 2:00 - 5:00 PM .

Mrs. Hendricks was born on September 25, 1940 in Darlington, SC; she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Brewington. A life-long member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church and a devoted army wife, Mrs. Hendricks was a pillar of strength and unwavering support to her husband and family. She had an adventurous spirit and was proud of her accomplishment of becoming a licensed truck driver with her chauffeur’s (CDL) license. She relished the opportunity to travel to new places, always returning home with stories that inspired joy and awe. Mrs. Hendricks enjoyed the art of cross-stitching.

Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, Robert G. Hendricks; son, John T. Hendricks; siblings, Dealice, Lola, Azilee, Juanita, George and Jessie.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Colleen) Hendricks; Daniel S. Hendricks both of Patrick, SC; grandson, Heath (Cari) Moore of Rock Hill, SC; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Moore, Hadley Rae Moore; numerous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews; close friends including her caregiver, Moe Cassidy and also Tammy Adams.

The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Smith of Care South of Society Hill, Center Well and Gentiva Hospice, for their care of Mrs. Hendricks.
