INTERMENT: will follow in the Ruby Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday January 22, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

HISTORY
Mr. Douglas was born February l, 1929 in Kingstree, SC, a son of the late Gary Evan Douglas, Sr. and Edith Anderson Douglas. He was a graduate of Furman University and received his Masters degree from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Douglas taught for 4 years at the Hawaiian Baptist Academy, and retired as principal of Ruby Elementary School with 32 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church. Gary enjoyed music and was a very talented organist, pianist, and composer. He was preceded in death by his brother, William K. Douglas'

SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 25 years, Zada Graham Gulledge Douglas of the home.

Stepdaughter: Carol Ann Gulledge of the home

Feline Granddaughter: Gracie who he loved very much

Special Sister-in-law: Amelia Potts Graham of Fort Mill, SC
